STEEL TANK LINER CERTIFIED FOR THE STORAGE OF DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID

Blue1USA is proud to announce an epoxy liner for carbon steel tanks that is compatible for use with Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). This exclusive, proprietary product has been certified by an independent third party testing lab to meet ISO 22241-1 standards. This product breakthrough will now give jobbers, fleet owners and truck stop operators an economical solution for the bulk storage of DEF compared to stainless steel tanks. Most importantly, this liner has already been approved by the DEF suppliers themselves*

Blue1USA has partnered with one of the largest protective coatings companies in the world, The Carboline Company, to offer this product for use with either carbon steel or aluminum storage tanks. All DEF tank specifications must meet strict industry guidelines including NACE and PEI RP standards, UL certification, detailed coating and curing processes, strict record keeping, quality control inspections and Holiday tank testing. Applicable tanks will include 100% stainless steel man-ways, valves, piping, fittings and flanges. Every tank also meets ISO 22241-3, 4 standards for the storage and dispensing of DEF.

Underground tanks are ideal for the storage of DEF since the temperature constraints of this very sensitive product have been virtually eliminated. Another common occurrence with UG tanks is the potential contamination or dilution of the DEF product from rainwater. This concern has been addressed by engineering each tank with proven, leakproof solutions, including dry-break fill couplings.
